The LST and Landing Craft Association was founded in 1987 by Shipmate WJ (Bill) Chalk who was Vice-President from 1989 to 2003.
The main aim of The Association is to promote and maintain fellowship between members of a similar service background. It also serves to give moral support to members in case of need and to provide financial assistance to less fortunate members, as funds may allow, at the discretion of the Management Committee.
The Kings Arms is the Regional Headquarters, and members meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, and enjoy the pubs hospitality and good company.
